New Look School Website The new school website is now live.
For Staff and Students the site should log you on automatically in school and at home you can use your network logon details.

There is a new Roombooking system that is available to both staff and students, but obviously it is read only for students. It has a new day view and the ability to make a room available if you know you wont need it.

There are a few other pages still in development but they should go live in the next few days.

EHS Newsletter - July 2010 The latest edition of our newsletter is now available to download. Please click the link to download it.

EHS begins testing of Frog Learning Platform. EHS is now carrying out testing of its new Learning Platform, which is due for release in September 2010. The service will provide a cutting edge Virtual Learning Environment for pupils and new facilities for staff. As well as this, there are considerable benefits for parents. All parents will have access to online reports about their child(ren) regarding data and achievements, progress and behaviour. There will also be other facilities such as access to school letters, policies, newsletters and other publications.
From September 2010 EHS parents will be entitled to a Frog user account to access the Parental Portal. We will also be running training sessions for parents in the Autumn Term. Watch this space for further details.

EHS gains Leading Aspect Award EHS has been awarded the highly respected Leading Aspect Award in recognition of its work in supporting Simon de Montfort Middle School to move out of special measures in March 2010. Leading Aspect assessors were particularly impressed by the rapidity and sustainability of the cultural change that has taken place at SDM. They recognised the hard work and dedication of all the teachers and leaders that have contributed to a successful and developing partnership. Further details can be found by following the web link.

E-Safety Survey Internet safety is a growing public concern especially among parents whose children live in an 'instant messaging' world of technological communication. You as parents and carers are the front line in keeping your children safe from harm. This online questionnaire has been designed to research the implementation and awareness of e-safety within the home environment and should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete all 10 questions.

Uniform Team Survey The Uniform Team has surveyed students and staff regarding the school uniform. They would now like to hear from any parent/guardian who would also like to have their say.

EHS SUPPORTS SPORT RELIEF All students are to wear school PE kit for the day on Friday, 19 March as part of the school's participation in Sport Relief. During this week (15 to 19 March) we are running various sporting activities, culminating in a whole schools (EHS/SdM) run around the school field at 2.50pm on Friday.
