Welcome to Evesham High School and the school year 2009/10
Our school is a vibrant and friendly environment where all students can learn and flourish as individuals. We are very proud of the positive relationships amongst students and staff and we are a school that sets ourselves high standards of achievement in all areas – academically and socially. We see every child as an individual who has talents and capabilities to develop and we value the power of learning and all who contribute to learning, which includes the staff, the community and of course the students themselves.The school has much to celebrate: we continue to break our record for examination success and maintain our position as a high achieving school. We have specialist school status in Sport, Maths and Computing. We have joined the small number of secondary schools who have achieved the Becta ICT Mark. However, it is the commitment and enjoyment of learning of the students here and the dedication and pursuit of excellence of the staff that make this a great school.
It is also the year where we have this exciting opportunity to work in close partnership with Simon de Montfort Middle School to raise standards, share quality staff and offer our pupils a stimulating learning environment. Building upon another very good year for our summer GCSE and A Level results, we will continue to try to achieve the very best for our students. This partnership offers exciting opportunities to strengthen provision for our local community.
